The Story of "No Bugs"

C and I were getting rid of a mattress a while back and I made a 'No Bugs' sign for it before we curbed it, in case someone took it.
'Ha. That's a good band name.''Yeah, for like a silly band.' It became an inside joke that 'No Bugs' was Outer Shapes' goofy alter ego.
But when the doubt kicked in, the joke wasn't as funny.'I thought we put on a good show but that crowd was dead.''They would have liked No Bugs better.'
There is an intensity deep in my being that I was long told to be ashamed of. Performing, listening to music, and writing these songs is a deep release of that.
We wrote this song, 'No Bugs' after a rough show. It was a twisted daydream of being people pleasers instead of ourselves.
